2. About RoadFloat

RoadFloat is an online marketplace that connects recreational boat owners with independent marine service professionals, boatyards, marinas, and other marine businesses.

RoadFloat provides technology that helps users discover service providers, request work, communicate, manage projects, and facilitate payments. Unless expressly stated otherwise, RoadFloat is not a party to service agreements entered into between users.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify RoadFloat promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use RoadFloat.

Businesses using RoadFloat represent that they are authorized to act on behalf of their organization.

5. Marketplace Rules

Marine professionals are independent businesses and are solely responsible for the services they provide.

Professionals are responsible for maintaining any licenses, certifications, insurance, or permits required for their work.

Verification badges or profile information displayed by RoadFloat should not be interpreted as guarantees of quality, licensing, insurance coverage, or future performance.

7. Boat Owners

Boat owners are responsible for providing accurate descriptions of their projects and vessels.

Boat owners should carefully review proposals, qualifications, reviews, and pricing before selecting a service provider.

8. Payments

RoadFloat may provide payment processing through trusted third-party providers.

Processing fees, escrow services, and payment schedules may be subject to additional terms presented during the transaction process.

RoadFloat does not guarantee payment for services or completion of projects.

9. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews based on genuine experiences using the Platform.

Reviews should be truthful, respectful, and relevant to the services provided.

RoadFloat reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including photographs, project descriptions, documents, and communications.

By submitting content to RoadFloat, you grant RoadFloat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and use that content as necessary to operate and improve the Platform.

11. Intellectual Property

The RoadFloat name, logo, software, website design, graphics, and other Platform content are owned by RoadFloat or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify RoadFloat content without prior written permission.

12. Platform Availability

We strive to keep RoadFloat available and reliable; however, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Platform at any time.

13. Suspension and Termination

RoadFloat may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, threaten the safety of other users, or otherwise misuse the Platform.

Users may close their accounts at any time, subject to any outstanding legal or contractual obligations.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

RoadFloat provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoadFloat disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoadFloat shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.

RoadFloat is not responsible for the actions, omissions, workmanship, pricing, or representations of independent users or businesses using the marketplace.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoadFloat, its officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
